Northwest Territories Employer Representative – WSCC Governance Council

(Part-time Position) 

The Workers’ Safety and Compensation Commission (WSCC) Governance Council is seeking a Director who will bring the perspective of employers to our organization. Having an understanding or qualifications in the areas that complement the skills and abilities of other Governance Council members is preferable but not required. These areas include legislation, policy development, human resources, and a familiarity with the workers’ compensation system. The Governance Council is particularly interested in candidates with experience in accounting, financial management, audit or investment strategy.

The WSCC is strongly committed to equitable representation of communities and to recruiting a diverse membership for the Governance Council. The WSCC encourages applications from all qualified Candidates, including persons with disabilities, First Nations, Metis and Inuit persons, members of racialized communities, 2SLGBTQIPA+ persons, and young workers (age 20-30).
