WHMIS Training

As WHMIS legislation continues to evolve, the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) provides updated WHMIS education courses.

To register for updated WHMIS e-courses, visit CCOHS online course registration pages for:

• WHMIS for Workers
• WHMIS for Managers and Supervisors

These e-courses help employers and workers comply with training requirements and fully understand changes in labelling hazardous materials and the safety data sheets (SDSs) that employers must have readily available at the worksite.

This training is not a substitute for site-specific WHMIS training. Employers must train workers on how to identify and handle any hazardous materials the worker may come into contact with.
