WHMIS 2015 Training

The WSCC, in partnership with the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS), offers an online WHMIS 2015 e-course to help employers ensure their workers’ Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training is current.

This free e-course helps employers and workers comply with training requirements and fully understand changes in labelling hazardous materials and the safety data sheets (SDSs) that employers must have readily available at the worksite.

This training is not a substitute for site-specific WHMIS training. Employers must train workers on how to identify and handle any hazardous materials the worker may come into contact with.

This e-course is available in Inuktitut, English, and French.

If you have any questions, please call 1-800-661-0792 and ask to speak with the Occupational Health and Safety Programs manager.

For more information on WHMIS 2015, visit our WHMIS page for safety bulletins and posters, available in English, French, Inuktitut, and Inuinnaqtun.
