Request access to your own information (Submit a request for file disclosure)

The Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act (ATIPP) allows the WSCC to collect personal information from businesses and members of the public to successfully run its programs and activities.  For example, if someone files a claim, they provide their name, address, date of birth, and medical information related to the injury or disease. For more information please read our Privacy Statement for Workers.

As a government agency in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, the public has a right to access information relating to themselves, and the right to request information held by the WSCC.

There may be instances where members of the general public request records from the WSCC that contain personal information that is not their own. This requires a formal request to the WSCC’s Access to Information Coordinator.
