Don’t Be a Number promotes workplace safety to young workers age 13-25 in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. The campaign encourages young workers to know their rights as workers, and take responsibility for their safety at work.
New in 2011, an exciting online game, One Life Logan, teaches young workers about workplace safety while having fun. Participants play the role of Logan, a young worker, living and working in the North. They must navigate hazards and use personal protective equipment to stay safe on the job. Each game ends with a safety message, further reinforcing the importance of workplace safety.
