WSCC's Involvement

The WSCC first celebrated NAOSH Week in 1997, with various activities and events designed to raise awareness of health and safety in the workplace and the community. 

Evolving from safety messages in 1997 to Safety Street in 2010, we celebrate with radio contests with safety themed questions, corporate challenges, stakeholder demonstrations of techniques like diamond drilling, and incorporating youth themed campaigns like Don’t Be A Number. 

Our events consistently create awareness of safety practices, worker rights, industry knowledge, and information on our programs and services.
